Septic System Services

Conventional Septic System for a 3 Bedroom home $3,500
	Conventional Septic System for a 3 Bedroom home includes: -One 1,000 gallon reinforced concrete septic tank. -Approximately 300' to 450' of 4" corrugated septic line or "Ezee-Lay" pipe. -45 to 60 tons of washed stone(for conventional systems). -Distribution boxes, caps and solid PVC pipe where necessary. -Septic system permit and copies for owner, contractor and building department. -Minimum clearing/removal of trees as necessary.

Jordan Properties will assist you to coordinate the installation, inspection and approval of the septic system and will assist you with the local health inspector and septic contractor until completion of septic field. This price does not include the sewer line from the tank to the house or future backfilling around the tank, which may be needed after the dirt settles.

Larger systems (systems which require a pump) or alternative systems (such as low pressure, spray, pressure manifold or T & J panel) will be priced on an individual basis according to the health department's design.

Note: Once septic installation is complete, settling of dirt around tank and lines may occur. If settling is significant, customer may want additional fill dirt spread over septic area to prevent "ponding" of surface water. Due to weather conditions, particularly in the winter months, landscaping of area may be difficult. The area must be completely dry in order to finish landscaping without damaging (compacting) septic lines. It is important to seed the area to prevent erosion of topsoil and to promote water absorption.

Jordan Properties does not warrant systems which fail due to local health department errors, unusual weather conditions, failure to landscape or poor maintenance and/or abuse by the customer.

Note: Installation of system may require some clearing or removal of trees or shrubs; our price includes clearing debris to one side of system at no charge. Removal of debris from site is not included..
